Welcome to Penventon House Campsite

Penventon House Campsite is located in the garden surrounding Penventon House property. Our campsite is unique and offers cosy atmosphere. There are only a few grass pitches available separated from each other with old trees and bushes. Some of the pitches are located in the Old Orchard among lovely apple trees. So, it is a haven for those who choose to stay in a quiet place and like to listen to the noises of nature. The site is suitable for:

  • single travellers,
  • couples,
  • groups,
  • young and older families with children of all ages,
  • dogs and cats are welcome, as well.

You will find Penventon House Campsite in the heart of Cornwall, in Lanner village right outside Redruth. From our location there is an easy access to lots of Cornish attractions and tourist sites. For detailed directions see the map in Contact section.

Non-electric grass pitches

Modern hot shower – in a converted post box in the garden

Tea house – equipped with: washing machine, dryer, electric sockets for charging devices, a kettle, microwave, toaster, sink with cold running water, dustbin

Toilet – modern, composting in the back of the garden

Extra outdoor cold shower – to use after sauna session and for wetsuits

Wi-fi – the signal might not be equally strong in all parts of the campsite

Rules at Penventon House Campsite

  • Departure time roughly 11am
  • First arrivals from 12noon
  • If (for any reasons) you arrive after dark and there is no manager around, enter the campsite, find an available pitch and put up your tent
  • To use the sauna and get the firewood talk to the manager of the campsite
  • Children under the age of 5 go at no charge
  • For all vehicles, please note that there is a restriction in size as the entrance gate is only 2,5 metre wide

As most of the guests visit the area to enjoy its beauty and tranquillity, there is a strict ‘no noise’ policy each evening after 10pm. Because we want all of our guests to enjoy their stay so we politely ask to respect our neighbours at all times. Non-compliance to our rules may result in you being asked to leave the site without refund.
